•THREAD-JACKING: Allowed and expected, given nosy and meddling castmates (lookin' at YOU, Stiles)
•FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: Every last cast mate is from after him, so it's going to happen. ANd fourth-walling is totally fine. Of any variety.
•BACKTAGGING: For the most part. Though super slow, non-vital threads may be dropped. Mostly cause Jackson's attitude is always shifting and I may lose track of his attitude at the time.
•AVOIDED TOPICS: I'm not comfortable with stuff like Hannibal levels of gore/body horror. But beyond that, I'm golden.
•PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: Female
IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: When he "died" at the end of the kanima incident. After asking Lydia if she still loved him.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Handsome, douchebag, model-type. His appearance is almost always immaculate, his clothes typically standard for rich teenagers--name brand, button ups, jeans, sweaters, etc. He's not tall at all, at only 5'9. Typically smells of subtle (and expensive) cologne. Or the healthy kind of sweat given how much he works out. His tone is almost always aggressive. There are four small, oval-ish scars on the back of his neck. Where a certain werewolf dug his poisoned claws in on accident.
•DEMEANOR: Aggressive male douchebag. He frequently acts like he owns everything and like everyone should be honored by his presence. Typical popular high school kid with a trumped up ego for being the star athlete.
•ABILITIES: See below
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: He's a werewolf, so he heals faster than usual. Wolfsbane, mistletoe and mountain ash act as poisons on him.
•CABIN INFORMATION: His bedroom from home (images coming soon)
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Being adopted, not being the best at something, being considered weak, being controlled, being called a lizard of any form. But really, most anything could set him off. Have at it.
IC PERMISSIONS:
•MENTAL: Sure! Just don't expect him to handle it well after the fact
•MIMICRY: He'd consider it flattery, so yes.
•VIOLENCE: Is there something stronger than "Yes"? Cause he'd likely be the one starting those fights.
•MAGIC: Sure!
•DEBATE: Of course, but don't expect anything thought provoking in return.
•OTHER / NOTES: A blanket CW warning for interactions, should they venture into a sensitive area. In canon he was violated on a very non-con type level, for an extended period of time. Though it wasn't in a standard way (mentally controlled/forced to act against his will), it's still a major violation of consent. It's not likely to come up in a majority of threads, since it's something he keeps hidden. But if you're uncomfortable with this, I'll be sure to keep it from threads.
Breakdown of abilities:
Transformation (partial): He’s not the sort of werewolf that turns into a big furry beast. Or any variation of an actual wolf. His face gets a bit more beastly, his eyes glow, he gets fangs, claws, pointed ears and a bit more hair on his face. Transformation isn’t always all at once. Sometimes it’s just claws, or the glowing eyes. Because apart from making him kinda fugly and furry this is extremely minor it will remain unchanged.
Blue eyes: Not really an “ability” but very important in the whole transformation thing. In the world of Teen Wolf, blue eyes are a mark of having killed innocent people. And even though it hadn’t been his choice, during his time as a kanima he killed many.
Physical ability: Anything physical that humans do, werewolves just do it better. They’re stronger, faster, more agile. They jump higher, react quicker and are all around superior. They can also take a great deal more abuse than the average human. This will all be severely toned down. Still better than a human, but nowhere near on par with the rest of his castmates. Which is going to REALLY piss him off.
Heightened senses: They can see, smell and hear far better than humans. And when used correctly, this heightened sense can be honed to sense things that may otherwise be undetectable (IE Scott “sensing” the abuse that Isaac suffered). Range and intensity will be dialed back quite a bit.
Healing: Visibly rapid healing. Injuries that would cripple a human, or at least take weeks for a human to recover from are healed in minutes or hours. However, wounds from an alpha will take much longer, but still heal faster than a human. Weapons tainted with wolfs bane can easily poison or even kill with even minor wounds. Whether a separate ability, or just linked with their ability to heal more quickly, they seem to also have a much greater pain tolerance. But he’s not going to be able to heal nearly as fast. And it will take a lot less to damage him.
Pain relief: With a touch, and a little focus, a werewolf can draw out another’s pain--whether human or animal. At least temporarily. While all werewolves seem to have this, Jackson does not yet know he can do it. But if he’s taught, it’s going to take a lot more effort.
Weaknesses:
- Wolfsbane acts like a poison or toxin, the exact effects vary on type
- Mountain ash (rowan tree) can be used to create barriers that werewolves cannot cross
- Directly applied electricity can prevent wolves from transforming or using any of their abilities
- Even when practiced, they are held under the sway of the moon, they require a great deal more control during the full moon than any other time of the month. Newly bitten werewolves are unable to control themselves at all on their first full moons and require physical restraint.
- Extremely short temper, in conjunction with the whole werewolf thing, means far less control in general for Jackson
