The creature had no patience for this, it's slitted gaze following Draco with murderous intent. The sounds it made were unlike any known creature, growling and hissing between its nasty teeth. It had a mission to carry out, a task to finish. Kill the teacher, tear him apart. The teacher was right there, close enough to bite, but it couldn't move.

The magic wasn't lasting as long as it should, starting to wear off moments after the sample was collected. It's fingers started to twitch. Only slightly at first, little more than a quiver. But slowly, it could flex its fingers, trying to overcome the magic and reach for Draco.
