[He told her to pick out their costumes, so really, if Jackson is upset about Lydia's choices, it's his own fault. At least that's her opinion.

In short? Him Tarzan, her Jane. And they're both hot enough to pull it off. Lydia had to deal with a passel of cousins so she's running late, but the plan is to party bounce around town, and see where the night finds them.

[ It wasn't the costume that displeased him. Any excuse to make everyone who saw them feel jealous and inadequate was perfectly fine by him. It didn't even bother him that they weren't having a Lydia Martin party.

The only thing that had him irritated was that they were already late. He stood at the bottom of her stairs, wearing a sweater over his rather scant costume. ]
